EARLY FALL MEANS COLOR

Some of the color in the early Fall garden is stunning--with cooler nights, the blooms take on an 'Autumn" look--darker, deeper, vibrant colors, not at all washed out, like some have been in August.  The foliage green is brighter as well.  In order to bloom, Mums need cool nights, and the extended dark hours that fall brings. They will bloom until the end of November, or until they freeze, as well as the Dahlias, Roses, and Zinnias. I will be preparing my first fall meal--taco soup with homemade bread sticks, and apple crisp, on Conference Sunday with the family.  Umm, I love fall!
