I love PEONY season--these long-lived plants and their huge blooms, both single and double, come in some wonderful colors; I not only have shades of pink, rose and red, but white, yellow, coral and apricot as well. This arrangement in shades of pink will be long-lasting in the vase, and open up, some to 8 inches across! It is not uncommon for peonies to live for years. Some that I have I transplanted from my Grandmother's garden, and they are upwards of 100 years old. They look wonderful with iris, poppies and lupines.
