The DAYLILIES have started blooming--with 7 in bloom right now, and lots of buds on others soon to be in bloom. I love daylilies for their easy care, and for the welcome color they give in the gardens when there's not a lot of other things except roses, OT and Asiatic lilies. The State Fair zinnias are starting to open up as well. It will be nice for some color after a couple weeks of what seems like a barren wasteland. Here are the daylilies that are in bloom today.
