HOMEMADE OREOS

2 Packages Devil's Food Cake Mix

4 Eggs, beaten well

2/3 C. Canola Oil

1/4 C. Butter, softened

4 oz. Cream Cheese, softened

1/2 tsp. Vanilla

Powdered Sugar (to taste)

Mix cake mix, eggs and oil together. Shape into marble sized balls. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

FILLING:

Mix butter, cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar. When cookies are completely cooled, frost the flat side of one cookie and sandwich with another cookie.

yield: 36-48 cookies.

This is a cookie that always goes fast at any gathering.  It's simple and pretty quick.  These also freeze well (If you ever have any left over to freeze!)  A FAVORITE of ours!
