Now that we've had some warm weather, things are really taking off in the hanging planters. For a long time, they did virtually nothing. Now that the temperatures are consistently warm, the plants are growing at least an inch per day. If you have patio containers, it is best to water them everyday (or as needed--which sometimes means twice a day!) Once a week water in a good quick-release fertilizer. This keeps the flowers actively blooming and healthy. I love working with a variety of plants, and usually change it up a little every year. This year I have ferns, potato vine, hanging fuschia and trailing blue lobelia. The planters will be pretty until late fall.

I need to get some hanging planters. We have spots for them, we just need to get some plants.
