SPRINGTIME FAVORITES

I have many passions, and flowers and gardening are two! One of my favorite times of the year is spring time! To work in the soil and then see the rebirth that takes place when the perennials awaken, or watch as little seedlings appear, is one of the joys of my life! These spring blooms are some of my favorites: Bleeding Heart, one of the first plants to break dormancy; a Dykes Medalist Tall Bearded Iris, "Queen's Circle;" a pin cushion (Scabiosa) flower; A beautiful Tree Peony "Yoshino Gawa"; Daylily, "Cherry Burst;" Crown Imperial; Japanese Iris "Dimity;" 30" Single Late Tulip "Temple of Beauty;" "Double Delight"-a hybrid Tea Rose; and a Bi-color Columbine.

Passion is defined as the love of, or the object(s) of affection and emotion. I am passionate about family, friends, flowers, food, photography and fabulous music! This blog is dedicated to those loves.
