COOL, REFRESHING WHITES IN THE GARDEN

I like to use WHITE in the garden.  White helps to make the beds look larger, more serene, and of course, white goes well with most anything. Pure white is at its best in your shaded garden.  It looks great with a number of things--one is a variegated green foliage.  I have several variegated greens that white is stunning with.  If used in broad masses, I have read that it can actually draw the whole flower garden into a "happy relationship."    This collage shows some of the whites that are blooming in the summer garden.
