The blooms of the year 2011 are coming to an end. Even though there are still colorful blooms in the garden, they are older flowers, and so the last fresh arrangement for the year was, sadly, picked and arranged yesterday. I wasn't able to use the Monkshood this year--it was too old this week, and I know it wouldn't have lasted a full week in a vase. It has been been beautiful, though, as well as the last of the roses--still in bud. Time will tell if they will have the time to bloom, as cold, snowy weather is on it's way. As I've said before, it's nice to have pictures to view all winter of the grand blooms of 2011!
