HOMEMADE FLORAL PRESERVATIVE and SPRING DAFFODIL ARRANGEMENTS

The early SPRING DAFFODILS are still blooming, with new varieties each week.  This weeks arrangement features  two of my favorites:  Huge, pure white MOUNT HOOD, and the pink, large-cupped MON CHERIE.  Combined with early blooming tulips, still closed until they warm up, and bright yellow forsythia, this arrangement will last a week using a floral preservative.  To make your own preservative to use in your floral arrangements, use this quick homemade recipe:
HOMEMADE FLORAL PRESERVATIVE
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp bleach
2 tsp lemon juice
Add to 1 quart lukewarm water.
