THE LAST OF THE TALL BEARDEDS TO BLOOM


Well, the time has finally come--the last blooms of the TALL BEARDED IRIS for the year.  The Hybrid Tea Roses, late Peonies, and Clematis are in bloom, with a few straggly lupine still hanging on.  All the different lilies (Day, Asiatic, Oriental, LA's, OT's) are coming along nicely, with some blooms imminent, as well as the delphinium.  I really enjoy this time of year!  Here are the last of the iris blooms for this year:
