LUPINE, LUPINE, LUPINE!

The lupine are in full bloom in the garden!  What I love about lupine is that they aren't true to the parent plant, so when you sow the seeds, you never know what you'll end up with!  This year, I have a wonderful array of purples of every color and lots of pinks--dark purple with white,  rosy purple with pink, dark purple, pink with white, dark pink with yellow, blue with lilac, lavender with yellow--you get the idea--it's endless!  I think they especially look nice with the emerging tall bearded iris and peonies.  It's a sea of color in these beds right now!
