TALL BEARDED IRIS IN FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR MEMORIAL DAY

In special memoriam for those passed on, it is fitting that we paused today to honor those family members as well as those who have served our country. I love using the spring flowers for this. Today TALL BEARDED IRIS, peonies, lupine, poppies and DUTCH IRIS were used to make the floral arrangements for our son who passed away and also my dad, who passed away this past December.  Use flowers that hold up well, water well, cut in late evening or early morning before the sun comes up, and plunge deeply in water with a floral preservative. These arrangements should last, even out in the sun, for at least 3-4 days, longer if the weather is cool with no strong winds.
